My first post.

I read that 76-79 Granada sway bars have the same bends and can be swapped with 67-73 Mustangs. Has anyone done this? What are the differences?

I noticed that NPD lists different part numbers for 67-70 and 71-73 mustang sway bars.

The standard Granada sway bar is 54 inches long with a diameter of 1 inch.

I have personally done this to my 69 coupe, I installed a front sway bar from a 76 or 78 granada and the front disc brake setup also with the tie rod ends and spindles. It works just fine, fits perfect, it is just like the setup for the mach1's. No problems switching them out either. You should be fine in doingt this. Good luck man!

OOPS! I just noticed that your car is a '71 vert, it is possible that the sway bar may be a different bend pattern/bolt on pattern. Sorry about that!
