A friend of mine with a 66 put on aftermarket brakes and is giving me his Granada brakes. I have a 67 will I need different tie rod ends? If so are they readily available? And what application? Where to buy? Thanks
If you friend has V8 power steering on his '66 then I think you will need different tierod ends. Other wise I think you are good to go. Basicaly, '65-66 stangs with V8s and power steering had smaller diameter tie rods. Someone correct me if I'm wrong....
The 67's had many of the same frontend parts as the 65-66's did, even though the suspension was widened for big blocks. Steering gear was the same unit for the early 67's. The tie rod ends should fit.
i just did this and the mustang tie rod ends where to small, so you can use 1970 mustang tierods since the granada ends are for rack and pinion steering.
