Great now my car wont start

ok,
ive noticed this problem and it seems to have gotten worse, it wont even start now. What happens is ill turn the car on and it will rev up to about 2k rpm then die. If i give it gas it will run but as soon as i take my foot off the gas it dies. I have no idea whats wrong. Its almost like its not getting fuel or air or something. Any ideas?

guess this is probably the iac. Where is the iac on these things and what does it look like?

look at the upper plenum. its bolted to the plenum with 2 8mm bolts. there will be an electrical plug and a air line going to it.
