My Flex-a-lite 30332 fan controller i had controlling my 2 12inch Flex-a-lite fans was garbage putting me on a flatbed even:nonono: bad design connections are always melting and shorting out, cheap plastic housing a circuit board that the connections plug right onto GARBAGE!!!.................So i did a little research and came up with Flex-a-Lite 33054 being the upgrade, ive had it a couple weeks now what a great product i installed it in a couple hours the probe was my least favorite part pushing it through the rad fins yuk!. The main wires that fried on old one now come out of the unit u connect to instead of plug connecting to board. GREAT PRODUCT!!!

I use the same controller, it took me a while to get it dialed in and have the fans come on at just the right time. With that controller, 3 core rad and a taurus fan my temp stays very consistent. I've sat in traffic for over an hour and the gauge barley moved. Putting the probe through the radiator was my least favorite part also. :nice:

Good to hear it has worked for you. I have a Black Magic fan (not installed yet) and one thing I do not like is how you have to stick that probe through the radiator.

The same kit you got but about $50 more is the Flex-a-lite 31163 which has the fittings like the factory uses or you hook a gauge and then a manual override switch.
