So i was tearing apart my front end just for the heck of it this morning. well actually because i want to hopefully relocate the fog lights to the cener with the cdc black grill but i got caught up on these

and for the life of me i couldnt get them to come out. i tried for a good 1o mins looking around at what could give me some more clearance to pry them open but do you guys have some secret to reaching down there to open them?

there was a thread a long time ago about this. basically, you have to use a little more effort. bend the tabs up, then push the tab through the hole.

Yup... just put a slotted screwdriver blade (Long one) and pry up as you pull.

ok i guess it takes just a bit of patience, something i dont have.. haha well not the answer i wanted, but it will do.. thanks guys

They are correct, more effort. As you are prying the tabs, pull out on the grill so each tab pops one at a time. A longer screwdriver makes it much easier.
