Stay clear from the dealer though

Um, OK.........

Did not have a month to wait till MT shipped the dam parts......

Everything I order takes forever........

I will gladly pay $20 more for 2 day wait.

You can actually get different emblems with the grille delete from 50 resto. for example, the flaming pony, 4.6, flag pony, chrome pony etc. they vary in price but most of them are $50. www.50resto.com

Plus they're very easy to install. Bf has his on in 15 minutes. I'm still waiting for the shop to get them back in stock! they sell out quick. I finally got my chin spoiler on though.

Sucks to hear about your front! I got a noticeable chip in my hood before i even got my permanent tags! New hood is going on in 2 weeks

Most delete kits are not installed correctly.

Mine is screwed down in the middle.

The how- too shows you how to do it right.

Much longer then 15 minutes...........

I think she's talking about the replacement ponies, not the whole kit.

My bad, my point was some kits are only TWO PIECE.
Which installs super quick but LOOSE in the middle.

Kit was 3 pieces, back plate, front plate, and pony. It took me right around 20 mins to install, and yes it was done correctly and according to the instructions
The only part that was time consuming was removing the bottom bolts. That took about 10 of the 20 mins. The rest of it was so easy I sat there looking at the instructions thinking they left something out. Car looks now.

Sorry to hear about your bad luck. My hood has so many little chips and all in it from all the hw driving I do. I waxed it with that new Mequiers stuff Sun and man I was about to cry when I saw all those chips and dings. I spent about 20 minutes with my grandfather touching up the hood before we even waxed it. Its hard to tell now, but I know they are there

Well you are a God Lou.........

Seems there is allot using TAPE, still not sure why.

I like to STUDY mods for a long time before jumping in with both feet.

My grill delete was installed by the dealer since its cheaper then the stock grill.
(car was wrecked)
SO glad the Mystery 2 piece, 3 piece is solved...............

I installed the Mach 1 Grill Delete last Fall and I love it. In my opinion it really enhances the overall look of the car. I got mine through the Ford Parts Network, but since then it has appeared on other wedsites. This kit will be more expensive at a Ford Store, therefore I suggest you visit someplace like MustangTuning.com or FordPartsNetwork.com.

Price is always different from dealer to dealer.
Ford is the problem here, not the dealer.

I HATE waiting for parts !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we will see, seems we are ranked 4th in the ESPN / Usa Today Poll...I know that doesn't say much BUT its good to be ranked I guess...besides the fact we have pretty much the same team as last year...as long as they aren't injury prone like last year we should be pretty damn good

The two piece kits are not a TRUE Mach 1 Grill delete. It is missing the radiator support which also allows the pony to be mounted more securely to the grill. No screws are needed to the applique, which once mounted, in a few days, will mold itself and fit tightly against the bumper cover.

Plastic.

The only Late model Mustang to get a metal grill emblem was the '93 Cobra

I got mine from Mustangtuning and it included all three pieces plus all the plastic rivots/screws. I saw a company selling the 2 piece grille and they charged you extra from the "instulation kit".

I got the Steeda kit, uses 3M adhesive foam and fits perfectly and is very solid. If you take your time and make sure it fits snug and the surface is very clean before you install it, it's not going anywhere
