Just picked up a 2006 Mustang GT. Car stopped, clutch engaged, grind into first, LOUD GRINDING NOISE. I mean it's ridiculously loud, where people actually turn to see me. Why is that? No other gear does it, just first. Heck I took off in 2nd a few times so people wouldn't hear me.
Sometimes when it grinded, then i thoguht i got it in gear and gave it some gas, nope.. but it seeemed like i was still engaged in a gear.
otherwise when i hear the grind, i go back to neutral and try again
any ideas? i highly doubt dealer do anything beacuse it was sold as is.
