Whenever i back out of the driveway and then turn the wheel completely to one side to take off, right when i take off i get a horrible grinding sound. Then it goes away and doesnt happen again. Anyone know what this could be, i'm thinking that it might be bad bushings but not for sure.

Sounds like your power steering pump is on it's last leg. Try this. Start the car, the without putting it in gear/drive, turn the wheel all the way to the left/right. If the noise comes back, my guess you PS pump took a dump.

You can rebuild them, or get a whole new one. Your choice.

OK!! I just re-read your post. Is it a clicking noise?

Try this. Go to a u-turn bay or somewhere you can make a turn with the steering wheel all the way turned over. Now turn the wheel all the way over, and accelerate hard.

If you hear a repetitive click noise, your ummmm.......:damnit:

I can't remember what they are called, but it has to do with the front suspension. Damn, I can't remember what it's called.

Have someone with you in the car, and have them stick their head out the passenger & drivers side window. See if they can determine which side it's coming from.

Once you do, check the ball joints, tie rods, control arm bushings, etc. I think the haynes manual will have some tests that you can perform to find the problem.
