GROUND CLEARANCE

[90 GT]

I GOT A 90 GT ITS LOWERED WITH MAC LONG TUBE HEADERS AND H-PIPE WITH CATS.THE PROBLEM IS WITH THE ACTUAL CATS BEING 2.5 INCHES FROM THE GROUND.I WAS WONDERING IF THERE ARE ANY CATS THAT HAVE BETTER CLEARANCE THAN THE MAC ONES.I WANT TO KEEP THE LOWERED LOOK.IF ANY BODY HAS AN IDEA FOR WHAT I COULD DO I WOULD REALLY APRECIATE IT.

get off road truck tires!!! j/k but seriously i dont think there is much you can do....you could pick up an off road h pipe for about 175 and just swap the catted h pipe out when u need to pass emisions. That will take care of a little bit of the clearence issue and it will make it sound a hell of a lot better!! if u dont wanna do that then u gotta just live with it....good luck man

THANKS FOR THE ADVICE.LOOKS LIKE I MIGHT HAVE TO PUT THE STOCK SPRINGS BACK IN HER.

y put the stock springs back and give ti the ugly stock hight back? mines lower and i just scrape on speed bumps, or u can pay a shop to cut the pipes and weld them higher in the stock area.
