First, thanks to everyone who helped me with my many problems with rocker arms...
Now I'm changing from the stock intake (88 stang 5.0) to a GT-40 intake, the lower went on fine, no problems there, but when I started putting the upper intake in, I noticed there are a few differences in the vacuum hoses connecting to the intake (see attached file) in that picture, my fingers are on three hoses on the underside of the old intake, there is only one in the new intake, and it's a different connection so I can't swap the hoses/connectors out to get the stock-like hose connections that hook up to the mustang...
Has anyone else run into this before? Are there any sites/help forums that have addressed the conversion? I was under the impression it was a simple bolt-on conversion... but it doesn't appear that way.
I was thinking since all three hoses go to the same place anyway, just getting/making some Y fittings for the hose that does run into the intake and converting it like that... Thoughts on that?
Thanks for the help!
