Which one for a street /strip car?Stock heads and cam will be used for a while, but will eventually get replaced.I can get a real good deal on the GT-40 from a friend or save a little longer and get the TF.The car is my daily driver that sees some strip time.

Is this a tubular GT40, or an Explorer intake?

From your post it sounds like you can get the GT40 for cheaper than the already decently priced TFS. I say GT40!

The Tubular GT-40 is the best looking intake out there. Try to find a Edelbrock Performer.

Wanna hear how this goes so I'm subscribing. I vote TF for the looks if you get the black powdercoated one. GT-40 tubular is pretty retro though but does anyone have opinions on one outflowing the other with stock, H/C/I, or poweradder applications?
