I finally had the car puttering along (getting too much gas I believe, but that's another post) and it started making a hardcore sucking sound... so I shut it off, never to start again... (flooded, me thinks)
but this has lead me to believe that one of my converted vacuum connections is jacked up... which connection do you disable when you change from SD to MA? on a GT-40 (well explorer 97) the connections are different, so what do I have to plug? I took the plug in the rear middle and treed it into the fuel pressure regulator and the TB sensor, I also thought it went to the MAF, so I just didn't tree into that... is that okay? There was also a connection on the front drivers side that I plugged up, because it wasn't on my stock intake...
I'm sure none of this makes since and i'll have to dissassemble all of it and take pix... but if you have any experience with this, it would be most helpful...

Vacuum line connections:
One large vacuum line from the upper front goes to the carbon canister

One large vacuum line from the rear goes to the vacuum tree.

One small line in the front feeds the Smog pump solenoid control valves on the rear of the passenger side wheel well..

One small line in the rear goes to the fuel pressure regulator.

One small line in the rear goes to the EGR suction regulator.

One large line in the rear goes to the PVC valve.

Mass Air cars have NO vacuum connection to the MAP/Baro sensor. The MAP/Baro sensor is vented to the open air.
