Those of you who ACTUALLY use the GT-40P heads which Headers are you using and can you please provide brand and part number so i can buy some to. Is there anyone using stock 5.0 headers off an 87-93 GT that are working with no problems. Thanks.
Made a special wrench which works great and had to flip 2 plug wires to get 90* boots on the plug, I need to get a new set with all 90's but cant seem to find anything
Ok after hours of reading every site there is on the P heads I have finally found a definate answer. MAC makes a set of P specific heads that they sell for 209.00 bucks. They are 1 5/8 coated unequal length. The number to call for ordering is1-661-823-2400. Central Coast Mustang.
Go with the FRPP headers over the MAC, they are stainless steel and worth the extra $$, Ive used those, now Im using the older style Mac Longtubes and they fit well, Im pretty sure its possible to use the 87-93 stock headers as well with 90 degree boots, I made my own set of MSD spark plug wires, bought the roll of wire and the boots/terminals from Summit
