I m the proud owner of a hand me down 96 gt... Everything has been done by my brother and I to get it put together right. All seals replaced, new gaskets, tranny sawp for 5 speed, and minor paint on hood and front bumper. Alson in the process of putting H&R ss springs and steeda c/c plates and throwing in an MGW S/T shifter. Here's my issue. The person whoo owned the car before my cousin, banged it up pretty good and when he rebuilt it decided to be a moron and deck it out with a cobra front bumber (which i don't mind, looks nice), cobra emblems (which i can take off. no big on the wallet), and the killer a cobra engraved rear bumper which i hate with a passion. Other than getting it taken off, what can i do to get rid of the COBRA at minimal cost? Im living on a college kids salary so money is way tight.

lol... not looking to make it a sleeper. had that pleasure already when i put together an 10 second probe in highschool. good times. i am planning on making it look mean i just don't want to start re badging and have cobra on the back. I mean i could just rebadge cobra but im not like that. if it comes down to it i guess thats just what i'll have to do. thanks for the reply's
Hummm. Maybe duct tape a sign to the left of the word "COBRA" that says "NOT A " and be done with it.
