im looking into the gt fog light kit i can get for my 65. can anbody give me an suggestions on where to get a good kit? any feedback from people who have done this or are familiar with this will be good. thanks
The one I have came from Calfornia Mustang. They have been on the car for about 10 years and are holding up well. Make sure you get the proper mounting brackets that go behind the front grill and the fog lamp switch for the dash.
I am adding the same to my '65 coupe - the kits I have seen on line look like the need diferent grill bars? Will my existing bars work - then just get the rest??
The standard 65 grill bars will not work with foglights. However, you should not have to purchase a new horse and corral. You should just need the light bars, fog lights, electrical, and the proper mounting bracket behind the grill. Double-check with the vendor first to make sure the light bars will bolt up the to stock 65 corral.
