GT gfx kit

hey all...just picked up a 93 lx from my brother-in-law for $600....has all the GT gfx but does anyone here have a GT kit on with only a 2.3??? dont wanna be the only one in the world to do it....

nope you wont be alone i know a guy that built a stang for his daughter and put the gt kit on a 2.3. i think that there are a couple guys here with the kit or parts of it on there 2.3s

If you didn't get the metal brackets that hold the ground effects on the side, your going to have to find another way to attach it. I havn't heard of anyone that sells them and most in JY's are rusted or broken. Maybe some 2 sided tape would work.

well the front bumper cover is the GT...also i have the GT spoiler and yeah i have the metal brackets....so i guess i wont do it...at least for now

Nice, a 2.3L auto that looks like a GT If that car belonged to a guy, he would get ripped a new one for the car being all show and zero go.

I'm putting GT ground effects on mine. I already have the front bumper cover on and just picked up the side skirts and the rear bumper. I personally like the looks of the GT a lot better. Others perfer the LX. Its all what you think looks good.

Mustangs Unlimited sells them. a bit pricey though.

i also love the look of the GT, i have ALWAYS wanted one....but the closest i have gotten is my 87 Cougar with a 5.0...i am thinking about pulling that block out and using it to build a 5.0HO and then converting the Mustang. Im just glad i got a Mustang FINALLY!!!!!

The only thing is, the only people who would rip on someone is someone familar with the fox gt and lx, anybody outside of a mustang community might not know the diffrence.... she does have a nice stang, but i would think that money could have been spent in better ways to make a 2.3T or 5.0 swap but thats just IMO

I put the Gt Front on my car, still need the two front flars though. looks a little off w/o them.

l have a kamei gt kit on my 92 lx coupe 2.3t
