Ok, as some might know I'm putting a 125 shot on the car. Question, are the GT and Mach1 fuel pumps the same pump? If not does the Mach 1 flow more, and can it support a 125 shot? I ask because I have this pump laying around and if I can save a little that would help.

I THINK its the same. If its a wet shot I think your stock pump will work...if its dry, you will probably have issues.

You can buy a SVT focus pump for a direct boltin fit...or the slightly cheaper (suprise!) but MUCH higher flowing Ford GT (40) super car pump. SVT supports around 440 RWHP MAX. Ford GT will support around 540RWHP. But it requires modification to your fuel basket.

DO a search on here and modularfords.com and svtperformance for "Ford GT fuel pump" and you should find everything you need

If you are running a wet shot, the stock pump is more than adquate. Dry shot is a different story. On my Mustang, with the mods listed below, I have seen a maximum of a .409 FPMDC (fuel pump duty control cycle) on the 125 wet hit. That equates to a 81.8% fuel pump max duty cycle. Plenty low enough.

Ok great, because I have the Zex wet kit sitting in the garage ready to be installed. Also, I have a set of NGK-TR6 plugs but i'm not sure if they are for the modular motors. Does anybody have a part number for these plugs?

The TR-6's are stock number 4177. That is the one heat range colder .708" reach plug for our motors.

Wet or dry, isn't it all coming from the same fuel pump?

^Yes, but the stock injectors are the limit....and to compensate the fuel pump will have to increase pressure, and the fuel injectors will have to max their pulse width....and it still probably wouldnt keep up. So basically even if it did, you would be putting ALOT of strain on both the injectors and the pump.

With the wet kit, fuel is taken directly from the fuel rail....and the only real limit of the fuel pump, but with a large passage for the fuel to flow through, like supplied with wet kits, its easy for the pump to supply the flow of gas.
