GT40 cc size?

Does anyone know the cc size of GT40 heads and the stock E7TE heads?

FWIW, my 1993 Factory Service Manual lists the 5.0 head (E7TE) at 60.6-63.6 cc and the Cobra (GT40) head at 62.5 cc.

I've not personally cc'd either myself and I'll guess that the numbers on the GT40 are nominal.

There is a +/- 2 to 3cc production var. in actuall cc IIRC.

...So what makes the GT40 heads so much better? I was talking to a guy I know and he said the GT40 heads arn't worth $400.

The price of $400 may or may not be good. Are they ready to bolt on or do they need freshening?

All things considered, I like the performance of the Thumper E7's for the money. I hope to be getting a set for my DD in the next few months.
