I have a question does the 96 explorer heads and intake fit the 5.0 car?..i know they do but what needs to be done to the intake for the EGR valve to fit and also something to do with the AIT sensor also?..any help would be great....I also would love to know the benefits of going to the gt40 heads and intake over the stock heads and intake why type of HP gains can you see....This is on a 87 GT that is being converted to MAF and has a Paxton
SN93 supercharger also...I was told to leave the stock cam and use 1.7 roller rockers and go with the GT40 H/I.....will i see some decent HP gains? Thanks

There are a ton of threads about this in the tech section. Youll probably get your answers faster by searching there, then waiting for responses here.

I have an exploder intake in the garage and just today bought a set of gt40 heads. There is a real nice sticky over on corral with all the information you'd ever wan to know about gt40, gt40p and ported e7's.

I'm doing this setup and eventually turboing it. Seems most guys are getting 250+hp out of the gt40 heads, explorer intake, 1.7rr's on a stock cam with exhaust etc.

Yea man you'll definitely see some gains! I'm going turbo in the future, and i wanted a sorta sleeper setup, plus i like the whole "go fast on stock ford parts" deal.

I'd def meet up with you. I want to get over to e-town and run the car now stock to see what i can do with it before i do the heads and intake.
