I come across many sets of GT40 heads from which I pick the ones that do not appear to have neglected maintenance and only from vehicles who have been totaled from crashing. The engines are always beautiful and the cylinder walls tend to always have crosshatching. The heads have been cleaned and can include the stock rockers if you want them. These are complete with valves, springs, retainers, plates, etc....ready to bolt on and ride. All gasket surfaces have been scraped and smoothed, the rockers are attached, they have been soaked in WD-40 and wrapped in cling-wrap. The spark plugs have been left in to protect the plug threads. These are used heads, however, and should be hot tanked or sprayed down with brake cleaner before installation to eliminate all wire-wheel debris.
