Hey Im wanting to swap out my stock upper and lower intake for a gt40 upper/lower on my 94 5.0. Just had a few concerns....
1) are there any notorious problem spots I might have trouble with during the swap/anything I should know about?
2) has anyone had trouble breaking bolts in the head? if so any suggestions on how to prevent this?.... kinda nervous about this one.

Any help or advice for the swap is greatly appreciated!

I've broken bolts while removing the stock lower due to corrosion. I heard heating the bolt a bit with a blow torch can help loosen them, but I never tried it. Try soaking them with PB Blaster.

The only other problem I ran into was figuring out how to redo the vacuum system. The vacuum line attachments are different than the factory one.

What he said...You have to re-jive all the vac stuff as the GT40 ports differ.. If your running stock valve covers you should be fine there.
