I looked threw a bunch of searches but didn't see any info on tap sizes. Can someone tell me the thread size of the IAT that is required for runner #5?
I am also probably going to run the EGR coolant and would like to know that tap size as well.
I am sure there must be a good write up or post someone probably has ear marked.
Thanks.

Thanks for the info. BTW, I am assuming the TB coolant thread is the same size at 3/8" NPT? I didn't see that listed in the thread.

I drilled the #5 runner just fine. Thanks for the thread size info.

Can someone confirm that the EGR Coolant thread is also 3/8" NPT -18?
Thanks,
T

The ACT uses a 37/64" drill and a 3/8" pipe tap. See Industrial Supply Equipment from MSC Industrial Supply or McMaster-Carr if you can't find the drill bit or tap locally.

Thanks for all the replys....the place I work has a full machine show so I got all the tools.
I think I will be forced to put a bit extra pipe thread tape on the IAT because when I got handed the drill bit from a friend in the tool crib it was actually the 39/64ths...I didn't realize it until it was finished....only 1/32" too large of a hole so I am not too concerned, the threads still look fine.
I will make sure the EGR coolant hole is the 37/64 before I start drilling.
