GT40 manifold question!!!!!!????

i just got a tubular gt40 upper and lower....no work done to them....70mm opening....

question is, i want to install it asap because i dont have the money right now for a tb and spacer, so would it be alright to use the stock throttle body and egr on the gt40 upper until i can afford one??? i am thinking it is fine im just not getting the full potential of the airflow but just making sure...THANKS!
