I would take the any GT40 variant over the typhoon intake, their build quality leaves a lot to be desired. Also the typhoon is a copy of the RPM intake, which was built for the 1500-6500 power band, and the GT40 types were for idle-5000, so it would also depend on what your current combo/goals are. Still, I would rather take a GT40 and have it P&P etc if you needed the extra flow vs. the typhoon.
