How do these heads work in a supercharger application? I've heard it bumps your compression a little bit if so how much?

could i break 300rwhp if I port these and a cobra intake with a right chosen cam?

anybody here running them with a supercharger?

I have gt-40 aluminum heads, and someone who talks a lot of crap told me that he could port gt-40p's to flow better than my aluminum gt-40x's. Wether he's just talking, I dont know, but you could get 300 rwhp with any ported head, an intake, supercharger and all the goodies to go with it.

How much are you getting them for?
GT40P heads need special headers from FRPP or MAC unless you can moddify your existing ones. But if your getting the for about $500 you can get gt40 heads (same as on 93 cobra) for same price but these will work with your headers.I would just save for a set of TFS Track Heats or AFR 185's.

i'm curious how good they work with a supercharger as well. I'm t hinking about putting a supercharger on with mine. Will the compression be too high for pump gas on a conservative tune? Oh and i highly doubt(not saying u wont) that you'll see 300rwhp with an auto and gt40ps.

He is not talking crap, it is the truth. GT-40p's that are ported/milled correctly can vastly outflow the GT-40x heads. The out of the box GT-40x's do not flow all that well for an expensive aluminum head. Thumper ported E7 heads are pretty much up to par with them, and for about half the price.
