Im going crazy trying to find a place that sells new gt40p heads. Summit racing has this to say under the item description of the gt40x head in their online catolog:

Performance heads for your Ford.
The Ford Racing GT-40 "P" high-flow cast iron cylinder heads flow 185 cfm of air right out of the box, giving your small block Ford greater power potential. Designed for Ford 289-351W engines, the complete assemblies have 60cc combustion chambers, 1.84 in. intake/1.46 in. exhaust valves, and work with stock or aftermarket intakes, rockers, and valve covers.

yeah, cast iron p heads that flow 185cc out of the box??? i want a set! You guys think this is a typo on summits behalf or do these heads exist? Ive checked every other website and cannot find anything! Ford Racing no longer even has a part number for a gt40 cast iron head of any kind besides circle track race heads.

I've heard you can get heads for a '98 explorer at Autozone (GT-40P). Just turn in your old E7's for a core.

Engine Might have to get a Dart block but don't want to and if I do, then 363 instead of 331. Thoughts on what I've already bought so far.......
