Hey guys when I ordered my heads I wanted 58CC GT40X heads. When I recieved them, they had the springs mounted and were complete.

However I see that they say "X302" on them. I have read that this number is for an incomplete 64cc head...

What gives?

If they say x302 can they be either 58cc or 64cc or are they one or the other?

thnx

The X302 is the bare casting. You'd have to cc the chambers to make sure they're 58cc heads, but I'm sure that's what you got if you ordered them from a reputable source, or got them from someone who had done the same.

Wierd, i have the same head and was under the impression that the x302 were 64cc,

Ford Racing Performance Parts [M-6049-X302*]

M-6049-X302* Bare Head (64cc Chamber)
M-6049-X303* Complete Head (64cc Chamber)
M-6049-X304* Bare Head (58cc Chamber)
M-6049-X305* Complete Head (58cc Chamber)

I had mine milled down.

I'll have to look at the boxes they came in. They may all be stamped "x302". I need to find someone with 58cc heads and see what stamp they have
