I need advice, please.
I have a 2008 GT500 Shelby. A spark plug has literally blown physically out of the aluminum head. I replaced the spark plug. Drove fine for about a month. After about a month, the same plug blows out of the head again. The heads are aluminum, it has a helicoil insert that holds the plug in place. I take out the original helicoil, and JB Weld in place a new helicoil, and install a new plug. The car is running good, but now I'm stressed and worried.
Have any of you ever had this issue?
If the plug blows out again,
1. I think I need to replace the head; the aluminum head threads will no longer hold a helicoil, right? so, replacing the head is a pain, and expensive.
but because the engine is such high boost...
2. Do I need to replace both heads to keep the engine balanced?

Any guidance is greatly appreciated.
