http://videos.streetfire.net/recentvideos/0/wm/4a51882a-cdcd-4017-8244-987f0009e4b9.htm

I still have my reservations about the cars weight, blah blah blah; but that is amazing.

That just proves that a heavy GT500 can move. All the critics are now

I wouldnt go that far. The car is still overweight. Sure when you mod it its gonna haul nutsack, but 500hp (stock) and the "average" joe is gonna run high 12's?

If that exact same car were a few hundred lbs lighter, it would have went went a tick faster, obviously.

Very badass though!

yeah the 03-04 cobra runs 12s stock as well with 390hp, they relally should have tried to make it a bit lighter

That video was awesome!!! Wonder when they are going to break into the 8's?? Is that even possible with a street car?

w/ a 75 shot of nitrous? I though it could do a little better w/ 776 hp or whatever, looks like its suspension needs to be reworked based on the launch

you're just a little off. 664 rwhp. Dont forget this is a heavy ass car.

Im impressed that they have the capabilities to run 9's on the stock blower so soon. It wasn't too long ago this year someone was the first to run 9's on a ported Eaton with an 03/04 Cobra (and nitrous I believe*). There just arent many mass produced cars that can run 9's without tearing into the motor and maintain complete street manners.

I agree the suspension looks like it could use some fine tuning. Gonna need it when they get that 2.8 on there!

That thing doesn't seem to leave the line hard at all, but they're probably easing it out and trying to avoid breaking stuff. Nothing makes a 9sec run more sweet than a nice wheelie though
