Some time ago I saw a thread for a "How To" install of a GT500 chin spoiler on a GT. I have searched the threads but nothing is coming up. Anybody remember this? Thanks in advance for your help.

Go to auto zone (found them at lowes too), and look in the automotive body fastener section They come in packages of like 10 pieces, I can't remember the number. But I just bought several that looked close and kept the one I needed and returned the others.

I think they were called interior fasteners? its been a while. I can't find the package either.

Gashog> Did you just go to your dealer and order it for $65? That seems cheaper than the $225 chin spoilers that are out there and this looks like it has more ground clearance.

yeah, found it online for cheap. Went to my dealer and said I could get it for X amount and he matched it.

I have some issues with scraping, but if you go slow you don't have anything to worry about. It just sticks out quite a bit. BTW, i'm not lowered. If I were, I would definitely second guess some of the driveways i go up.

You can buy it from Ford for $76. No shipping! Just bought one and installed it.

I see the write up on installing this on a GT bumper...any chance it can be done on a sixer?

I want to say you'll have an easier time, and it will be a cleaner install because you don't have a raised center section like the GTs do.

You can give it a shot, I wouldn't cut anything at first and try and bolt it up. I utilized some of the stock bolt hole locations underneath the front bumper as well. Not sure if the six has these also.

Worst case scenario you're out about $100 all materials included.
