Engine Gt500 Supercharger Fit On Gt?

I've got a feiend who will give me his old supercharger off his 2005 or 06 GT500 if I put it on my 05 GT. Do I need a different intake to make it work?

You need a different intake manifold.

If you decide to go this route shop around for parts, you may be able to buy the charger, intake and other components pre-owned from Shelby at really good prices.

I was under the impression that the 2007 GT 500 was a 4v 5.4L. Of course you can get an intake plate for the swap but I agree with Sparta, there are a lot of differences in these two engines. 3v 4.6L vs. the 5.4L. Make sure you do your homework before you get bogged down in expensive fabrication cost and realize that there a ton of supporting mods you will need to keep your 4.6L alive with that supercharger.
