GTO or STANG GT Mind Made Up

Bottom line - the GTO is simply ugly. Its looks like a Chevy Lumina with some typical GM flares and body molding. Sure, HP is great. A car isnt simply a HP race - it's a culmination of beauty and performance. In five years, the Mustang will still look great and the GTO will be on a second or third generation body type, trying to get it right.

I test-drove an 05 GTO today - they are pretty nice cars. I still like the looks of the Stang better, but the GTO has more interior room, IRS, and 100 more horsepower. With the current pricing on the GTO, it's hard to not consider one at $4,000 off MSRP compared to a GT at full MSRP.

For a few thousand difference, the GTO (minus the looks) is superior in many ways to the GT.

It is a great deal for the price right now. Probably the best thing is not everybody has one. I think they only made 12K of them this year.
