My alt, temp, and tach gauges arent working!!! Its only those three. all the guages on the right work. soo basically all my gauges to from the tach over to the left dont work. What should i look for? There isnt a fuse for the left side of my guages is there? This is really ticking me off. i had my whole dash apart today trying to figure it out. But i did find out that theres a switch on my tach to make it work for a 4 6 and 8 cyl car... now if only it would work! Soo help me out if you can.

Edit: My left turnsignal light doesnt work. just the one in the dash, dont know if that is related because i couldnt see if it was burnt out or not because i couldnt get to it. But it just seems funny that only the stuff on the left doesnt work.

Sounds like a ground to me -- if you have an aftermarket stereo I might check the grounds around there to see if anything popped loose.

I dont have a stereo at all. There is a ground wire that is jsut hanging in the opening though.

Sounds like a winner to me -- if you're sure it's a ground wire, ground it and see what happens.

It would have to be another ground somewhere or ba gauges. The volt gauge gets power directly through the alternator and sends it back to the alternator to allow it to charge. So, unless your car does not hold a charge, you are missing a ground somewhere that is keeping the gauges from working.

Sounds like it definitely could be the culprit. I don't have any suggestions for looking -- but I'm really thinking it's the problem.
