I'm going to the dyno again today! Previously with just a base mongoose kit, throttle body, intake plenum, midpipe, and catback I made the numbers in my sig.

Since then I have upped the boost by pulleying down to a 3.33" pulley, and added longtubes. I'll even give you a bit more help, my quarter mile traps are 115mph on 26" tire and 3.55gears.

How much will i put down today!??! Winner is whoever gets closest without going over, first prize gets $1 via paypal.

......AND THE WINNER IS............

bgrd351 with a guess of 410/397! The true numbers are 423hp/408tq!

WOW....man so the question I beg to ask here....HOW DOES IT FEEL!!!!!!

Man, thats a BIG jump.....looks like your at the limit now lol.

Might want a retune though....that A/F is a bit lean(12.3-12.4 = BAD) . And it will be even leaner on the street....id get that fixed before you really jump down on it.

BTW what caused the second dyno pull (no cool down either) to be like 16HP more? Then the next with another 1 minute pause, dropped back down to about what the first was????

Car feels great! It've actually had it with this setup going on 4 months now :nice:

I agree the a/f does seem a bit lean in the upper RPM's on that graph...but my LC-1 shows it dead perfect 11.8. I'm probably going to be investing in the ProRacer software and retuning the car myself, adding lots of timing and pulling fuel down low, and adding a lil timing and a bit of fuel up high. I'm also going to be intercooling the car pretty soon, within the next few weeks I'll have it all ordered.

I believe the first pull was low because the car hadn't been brought up to temp (had been parked for 2hrs), then the second pull was higher because the car was at operating temp. The third pull lost power because of heat soak. The blower was literally burning to the touch, so was the intake plenum, and even the boost pipe lol. Also, the reason for all of the pulls being SO close together was there were upwards of 40 Mustangs (and other cars) at this event, it was just car after car after car. I had the highest hp 2v there though

Their A/F monitor was BAKED! The guys replaced the sensor every 5 cars or so, but the holder thing it was in was atleast 500'F, one guy burned his hand trying to pull it out without a glove haha. Everyones A/F was pretty lean, one guy who had a turbo RAM SRT-10 was running 11.0 and they couldn't figure out why his numbers were "so" low (437hp/500tq @ 4PSI) - which leads me to believe they were off by atleast 1 AF point.

With the intercooler I'm expecting maybe 15-30 more ponies, ALOT better reliability, and WAY shorter cool down time at the track, which means more efficient hot lapping. I really want to do a/a/w, or a custom thermoelectric cooler...but neither of those would really fill in my whole "reliable" requirement lol.
