guestion for gt40 heads

i was wondering how much of a difference a set of gt40 heads from a 95 cobra with 77,000 miles on it would give me over stock??? i'm mostly wondering about horsepower...

i have a 1992 mustang gt w/1:6 roller rockers, e303 cam, cobra upper and lower intake, 70mm throttle body, 73mm mas air calibrated for 24# injectors, 24# injectors, mac cold air, mac aluminum underdrive pulleys, 3:73 gears, mac shortie equal length headers, custom x-pipe w/ flowmasters thats dumped, short throw shifter

maybe 25 horsepower to the wheels... gt40 are great heads.. just not spectacular... unless ur get'n em for a really really good price i wouldnt bother.

i got mine for 200. they need some work but when i'm done with them they'll be good to go.

with all the supporting mods you have so far, those heads should really wake the car up and be a blast to drive.

from what i gather, compression ratio will drop a bit, but that's perfect if you're plannin on some boost

if the price is right then get them. before i got my heads, cam, and gears i was trapping 99. now im almost at 105.

there are two diffrent combustion chamber for gt-40's 62.1cc's and 64.9ccs the 62's keep your cr stock (I am assuming we are talking about a 87-93 302 ho) and the 64's drop it a bit.

thanks...i'm getting them for $350...they're on a running 95 cobra...the guy in putting in a 351 stroker and is putting different heads...is that a good price...

hrmm, 350 is an ok price. If you shop around a bit you could find them for much cheaper.
