/ I have no donor car either at my disposal - I bought a nice used 5.0 -8.8 rear axle complete for only a $100 (it fit in the trunk of my taurus to get it home) - if your going carburated (like I am ) you can pretty much take the whole engine harness and dump it - I think I'm safe using the 4 cyl's suspension up front - w/the original brakes (fine for a street car) ( I bought a new trans hump w/the dual's for dual exhaust ) - I plan on just putting lowering springs on the back only (to even it out ) and maybe doing a disk conversion on the rear - my biggest concern was fuel delivery - but with research and a new gas tank - w/the correct pick up / electric pump - you'll be ok -You both shouldn't have any issue I even used the 4 banger alternator lol I also went w a hei distributor for 45$ and I removed all the wires to the computer as far as the fuel goes I mounted a in line pump on my firewall and it works great as far as gas tank I'm used the factory on just removed the factory pump and replaced it w fuel line and by doing this you must use fuel injection hose gas will destroy normal fuel line and I am very pleased w this car it runs good drives and rides well and I actually raised my rear 1 in when I added traction bars and drag springs but it looks good has nice stance
