For those who don't know, I'm setting up an Aerospace Components 4-piston brake job for the front of my 92 GT. I've been told that a MC upgrade is very necessary to make it all work. Question is this: What MC should I pick and what kind of adaptions will I need to make it work? I will be retaining the rear drums. I would welcome any kind of help, but details on how to set up a MC system would be godly. Thanks!

I think I have a problem here.

Why go with a huge setup in front like that, and keep the rear drums?

An SN95 MC should work well. You'll need a port adapter fitting set, which you can get from Maximum Motorsports.

Isn't Aerospace mostly a drag brake setup? I didn't know they had a street kit. I would actually call them and see. With four-piston calipers it seems to me that you'll need an SN95 MC, but maybe Aerospace has a special MC for you to use - I'm pretty sure Wilwood does for their setups.

And yeah, why not go rear disc?

Pretty much came down to a matter of funds on only changing over the front brakes. Aerospace only sells a manual MC and I'd really prefer to stay with power brakes for daily driverness.

I had also recently been told about Aerospace being a drag brake company. The kit I have is their pro-street kit. According to their rep its for street and track use. He said the difference is that the street kit has vented rotors as opposed to just being 3/8 slotted rotors. Anyone know different?

I think you would be better off going SN95 swap.

Well that would require switching to a 5-lug setup and considering I've already got rims and the Aerospace kit, it would cost me a lot more money then getting a new MC, no?

If they are drag race only brakes, would they be safe for the street, no?

Not sure about that. However like I said above, it isnt their drag brake kit. On that topic though, what is the big difference between a drag brake kit and a street kit? Mine looks pretty similar to the stock setup, ie vented rotor, except the rotors are bigger and obviously better calipers.
