I may need to replace my speed sensor and speedo gear. I have 3.73's.

Anyone know the speedo or part number or link for the proper speed o gear?

Just so you know...the one that I have in there now is not 100 % accurate..it's off by a few %%, but when the shop put the gears in 10 years ago, it was the closest they could get.

Thanks
RC

also click on this link and scroll down to speedo gear good info. and the speedo gear link on e-bay i posted is the exact person i bought my speedo gear from. with my 3.73 gears and see sig. for tire size& year model. my speedometer is about 1-2 mph slow at 70 mph not enough to worry about.

you just go to e-bay.com register if not already sign in and run a search for mustang speedo gear fing the one you need by year model and gear size click on buy and follow directions. but you can also go to a chrysler car dealer and buy a 23 tooth white speedo gear there it is the same gear.

Thanks BIll. Im wondering if I should just buy in in case, so that when I get to go under the car, I can replace it whether it's broke or not....it's already 10 years old.
