Hey Guys,

I just put mine h/c/i combo back together, and I have a annoying whistle. It is the loudest at around 1100 rpm, if the idle drops it seems to fade away. I have TFS SH heads, AFM N41 cam, Systemax II intake, and Professional Products 70mm TB.

I would like to blame the TB, BUT the whisle sounds like it is loudest at the drivers side rear of the intake?? Could it be the TB and the sound is traveling?? I checked all tourques and all is well??

Any input??
THANX

Although I have not been able to drive it (streets are ****ty w/ all the bad weather we had the last few weeks); it seems to run good, I have the idle set pretty nice, I will check the TPS voltage later today.
I did notice that when you tach it up to 4-5K it seems to float back down to idle, it seems to take longer than it used to, to return back to idle. Maybe the TPS voltage could cause some of that ??
I am also going to hook a vacuum gauge up to it later ( I have to go buy a new gauge, since mine died), and check to see if I am losing any vacuum when it is whistling.
BTW what should the vacuum read at an idle????

Thanx
