Well I had previously purchased a Carbonware 3 in. cowl hood. Awesome hood, well made, quality piece. Great people to deal with. Except my hood ended up being warped. Bummer I know but it may be an issue with one of the molds. Anyway ,another story for another day. Well I would go with carbonware again but due to time I had to go another direction. So I purchased a 2.5 in H.O. Fiber Trends hood. Are you suppose to find bolts to use to install this thing? The factory, and carbonware have studs in place. Are these hoods suppose to be this thin? I mean it looks like if I try to close the thing it will break. So far I am not impressed.

Yes you need 4 bolts. I THINK it's 1/4 x 20 but call them and they'll give you the exact bolt size.

My 00R hood is thin, but solid. Been on the car for a few years now with no problems.

Re-used the stock bolts with a few spacers to adjust height.

Hmm I really wish that carbonware hood was not screwed up. It would have been the superior piece. I may just send this back and wait until we figure out the issue. Thanks anyway!
