I am looking to put on a catted h-pipe and I dont want to buy a new one. I looked in the classifieds but couldnt find any. What do you think about a local shop just cutting off a few of my cats to make it flow better? I think he quoted me at 200 to take 4 cats off and replace it with 2.5 pipes. Should i do this or buy a used h-pipe.

so you want to buy a catted hpipe.. but you went to see how much it would cost to get them taken off..


try ebay..

You can find guys on here all the time upgrading to full lengths selling off road hpipes for 100 bucks , and if you live in a state with any kind of laws you will want to keep your stock catted one around for inspection , so look for a used off road h or x pipe and keep your stock one in tact
