MY buddy has a Bullitt Mustang. He is looking to buy a Off Road H-Pipe from another buddy. It is on his 02 GT. Will this h-pipe swap on with no problem? Or are there differences between the Bullitt and GT, where it will not work?
Thanks for any info.

AFAIK Bullitt = GT BUT the bullitt has a buncha cool schtuff with it... but the engine is exactly the same and the headers and exahust is exactly the same the only difference is the muffler and the tuning in the computer chip so the answer would be yes i beleive it will work.

Ok cool! thanks for the info.
I always thought the Bullitt had more done to it. I thought they had different cam or something.
It is pretty quick. Ran 13.6 all stock. Is that average time for Bullitts?

Um, don't forget the different intake. The Bullitt's also have that $1,500.00 dollar waste of metal sitting atop their engine.

Yeah, they make all of 5-more horsepower than a standard GT. And 13.6 is an exceptional time for a Bullitt. With that time, i'd almost throw up the to him being stock.

Is that intake worse than the GT's?

Its a pretty nice car, but I would have to have a spoiler and fog lights. I guess all Bullitts dont have em.

Yea I didn't see him run that time just what he told me. But it did have slicks on it if that makes a difference.

No, it's not any worse than the GT's, but it's really of no use until you're pushing a lot more air through the engine. It kind of falls half way between the stock PI and the FRPP manifold. But still, for what they're asking for it.....that's half way to a blower and you'll get a hell of a lot more than 5-10hp out of that!

Even on slicks, 13.6 in a full weight Bullitt is pretty miraculous. I'd have to see it to believe it, myself. I personally think your buddy is exagerating and if asked to duplicate it in front of you, I bet he couldn't.

13.6 on Slicks seems feasible to me. Bullitts hit 13's pretty often and slicks will give you the great 60' you need to run a 13.6. He's not BSing you about those times. I saw a stock gt with drag radials running 13.8's all day long and i ran a 14.2@98.8 stock wit a crappy @ss 2.2 60'. Id say on slicks i would be capable of 13.6-13.7 with the same car. Its all about the launch

-On the other hand, i beat a Stock Bullitt when i just had flows and K&N, so go figure
