Looking at MAC H-pipes. Are they any good fitment wise? I currently have stock exhaust and figured I had to start somewhere. For a 95' GT. Thanks!

There good, not the best but not the worst. I wish I had gone w/ MAC over my BBK, or just be done w/ it and get a Dr Gas Pipe.

I bolted mine up last week

Only problem i had was the mid pipe being a tight squeeze, just sanded and lubed a tiny bit, no biggy

Ummm... I didn't use gaskets or RTV for the collector to Headers... no leaks but i tighened evenly....VERY evenly

for being 109.00 its well worth the money

btw- if i were to do it again i would use a lot of instant gasket or RTV or gaskets just to be on the safe side

i got lucky they didn't smoke at the header collector

Fits like dog crap. if you look under my car from the back you can tell that it tilts down to the left. It was a major PITA to get it on there.

I agree, it fit on there really tight.. and so when I had to redo my header gaskets (cause the bolts backed out on the new headers) the h-pipe was pulling it at an angle the 7th and 8th bolt would NOT go in. So I had to undo the header from the h-pipe and fit it on there.. easy right ?? not really, I had to get someone to hold down the h-pipe out of the way so I could fit the header on right.

My previous BBK h-pipe on my old car was really easy install and wasn't forcing anything out of wack.

I like the sound of the MAC and for the price it isn't bad at all. The BBK is just a better fit.

My BBK h-pipe done the exact same thing and would not even seal on one side. I had to take it to the exhaust shop and have them work it a little. You might check out www.pypesexhaust.com and give their X-pipes a look. I recently installed a set of their v-tube mufflers on my car to give them a try and they are top quality and sound great and I am sure that their x-pipes are just as good and they are rather cheap too.

I know I have exhaust leaks and its b/c of that POS H Pipe. Im thinking of redoing my exhuast this summer and changing to Magnapacks and when/if I do that BBK is also being replaced.

Well, just so you know if you didn't. The H-Pipe that fits LT's are smaller, so you have to order the h-pipe for LT's. Not just a regular H-pipe for shorties.

Ex-- An "EX" pipe eh! I will see what happens at WFC if I go. You should think about flying up here and driving down with me.
