Please write what shock/strut combo you are runing with the ss springs and if you've had any problems with the set up, if you like it, do you bottom them out etc

Thanks

Bilstiens. no bottoming out under any circumstance. The ride is fine on a normal road but you will feel the bumps on a back road. handling is A+. ride "comfort" on a rough road is a c+ / b-. factory I would have cosidered a b/b+ to me. factory had smooth but somtimes a "bouncy" not in control feel where the bilstiens have a firm you feal the bump but still in control feel.

I do not know if ajustable would fix the ride comfort issue or just alow more suspention travel thus alowing you to bottom out. someone with koni's or Illumina's may chime in.

I've still got the stock shocks/struts with my SS springs. There is a little too much oscillation for my taste when I hit a sharp bump, but money is a finite resource.

As far as bottoming out, I've got the SLP catted X and I do scrape the cats fairly easily. That's more an issue with the X-pipe though. I even scraped the cats on that pipe in a few places before I did my springs.

Tokico Illuminas (the adjustables) with my springs. The adjustability isn't a gimmick, you really can tell a difference. Lower for better weight transfer (drag) and smoother ride, higher for better handling. I only have to worry about scraping on things like insanely large speedbumps (this one bowling alley's parking lot..........only place I ever have to deal with it )

I have the supersports with stock shocks/struts. The mustang does bounce more than stock when I hit dips in the road, but it isnt unbearable. Just with the springs, I feel like the handling on curves is much better. I almost bought the tokico blue shock/struts, but I did a road test on my friends tokico adjustable at the third setting (which the tokico blues are supposedly set at) I really didnt notice much difference from the third setting compared to my stock shocks/struts. But the no.5 setting on the tokico adjustables is night and day. So, I'll probably ride my stock setup until they are shot and order me some illuminas.

Hope this helps.

See sig...no bottoming out but the only issue I really have ever had is...with the X-Pipe. I seems the middle point of the mid-pipe is really low and tends to scrap on low clearences. Other than that...I love the combo I have.

They make a great product and thats what I have. Only time i've bottomed out was in an INSANE parking deck and it scraped my HPipe. But after I realized what was going on i adjusted my driving and didn't scrape again.
