well a few days ago i had the mustang weighed, she weighs in at 3080lbs without driver, not to bad i guess. i did just a little bit of weight reduction, looked like it payed off.
oh i forgot to mention that that was on a topped off tank of gas.
Lets see i removed the stock seats, for 12lb(if i remember right) seats, i removed the pain in the ass backing on the carpet, removed the backing off the side plastic panels, removed the A/C, and i think thats about it, but it did something i guess
Are we talking about a hatch, notch, or GT? I see T-tops mentioned, so all I could rule out was it being a 'vert...
3080 lbs. ain't too shabby. Maybe look into some lightweight rims and an aluminum driveshaft to get rid of a few extra pounds and help cut down on rotating mass, too.
