had to get towed from pir on fri 7/2

It really sucked, left the line and for some reasom it bogged and seemed like it wanted to die or load up or somethin, so I pushed in the clutch and reved it up and dumped it at about the 60' spot and a big bang came from the back. (A ricer would of had there only chance at a mustang on that run with my 48.16 @ 40.23 mph quarter mile), but I thought it was my tranny at first but it ended up being the rearend I think the spider gears are no longer there it would not move, just make some grinding noises. But I had fun anyway luckly I have a spare rearend but with 2:73 gears also so I still need gears.

Hopefully you have a spare 8.8 and not a 7.5 otherwise you will blow it again.

luckly I do have a spare 8.8 out of a 93 5.0 but the one that was in my car was a 8.8 out of a later 80's 5.0 it had be switched over because my buddy blew the 7.5 out before I got the car back in the day.
