ok went to the dealership today to check on the status of my 2011 mustang gt 5.0 i ordered. come to find out i ended up in the crossover from 2011 to 2012. so i had to reorder my 5.0 but at least now its a 2012 and the base models r 500 dollars less than the previous models. And the salesman said he pushed my ordered through so when they officially crank back up from the holidays mine would be one of the first out the gate. cant wait to get my car

Lol yea maybe. I'm just ready for my car. I definately don't mind a 2012. Most people down here in baton rouge don't have them yet. Everybody has camaros. Can't wait to get mine and have them with that look like damn he bout to whoop our ass lol.

What, if any, are the differences between the '11 and '12 models? Other than color options, of course.

And 500 dollars less for the base model and the premiums r 200-700 dollars more. Unless it's a major body or performance change I usually don't care about the other stuff lol

dynasty...what date did you order your car? Just curious as I'm also waiting on mine. I ordered mine a month ago and the last I heard will be here the last week of Jan.

my original 2011 i ordered was on dec 6 but when i went back to check up on it on dec 30 they say i fell into the cutoff cuz they pushing the 2012 model out early because of the boss mustangs. so they ended up reordering me a 2012 for when the plan opens cuz they say the plant closes for 2 weeks during the holidays
