Yay!

Too bad it is back to slow (stock). My STI would waste it :(. But it does have nice torque off the line. Been a while since I drove a car that could spin the rear tires with an idle launch... :D

Hey Dave :D

The place ain't the same without ya :nono:

I saw you on here about a week ago but did not have access to my car at that time to help you out :bang:

Long time ago I had a little Falcon that was pretty wild and put it back to stock form ... :( ... Talk about slow :rlaugh:

I do know what you mean Bud ;)

Good to see you on the board once more :nice:

cool... so what's the story here... you had the '03 and got the STI. Then sold the '03 right? so did you have this in storage or something?
I started putting the '95 back to stock after I bought the Cobra. Then I procrastinated ........ a lot. Then I bought the STI, and a couple months later sold the Cobra. And still the '95 sat. It hasn't had heads installed for almost 2 years . Other projects came & went and the '95 kept getting put on hold.

I still need help ;). Got a MIL right now, and I ran the codes a few minutes ago -- 122, 157, 158. The last two are because the MAF connector is defective and won't stay attached properly (nothing a little chicken wire can't fix :nonono:). 122 is TPS :bang:. I thought I had the correct wiring connections from FFI, but apparently not.

So if you want to go out and tell me which wire is which, that would be real nice :hail2:.

In addition to the TPS connector, I think I need to try and track down a replacement MAF connector. Chicken wire is effective but kinda ghetto looking.

I take it you're planning on selling hairy? :( :notnice:
Most likely I will try. But I do not need the cash, and I like the car well enough, so I will be pretty firm on my selling price. Combine that with the love/hate color, and it may be quite a while before I sell it :D.

If I end up keeping it long enough (and I can get a nice raise at work to pay for it all), who knows... I think a turbocharged 393 would be a lot of fun. Or perhaps a naturally aspirated 514. :jester:

Good see you back man. You should really try to stick around.

Anyways, you need a good project, so i think you should keep the car and do something wild. Its not like its selling value is a life changing amount so KEEP IT!!
heh, we'll see ;). I'm not especially interested in reopening this money pit anytime soon, it was very effective the first time around.
