well, the hunters seem to respond best to the plasma grenade in the back... 2 and they're out... oh, and the sword does work, if you hit their flesh...

-as far as the brutes... I'm almost always weilding plasma weapons when I find them... so it takes a bit of skill and luck to deal w/ them... took me forever on the final level on Legendary

I am probably about 1/2 way on legendary I think. Man those snipers are a PITA!!!!!

I can't believe I finished on normal given what I had.. Jumping out of the banshee and going into that room full of brutes I had 9 needler shots and 9 points on my sword, UGHH!!!

I just keep finding myself barging into a room/cavern/canyon and quickly saying, "Oops..." After I come back to life I go at it again with slightly different tactics...

So far I like 2 a whole lot better than the original.

yeah, much better story line... but I'm mad in a co-op game when one dies, both players restart at the last checkpoint!! this really pissed me off since my bro is back in town for a while now...

I didn't notice the revert to checkpoint issue.. There where a bunch of time I died in a blaze of glory and I had to have the other player back up a bit to get out of combat so I would respawn...

really? no death issue for you? it's freaking annoying w/ me! hum... on Legendary Co-Op, someone else want to test it out for me? final level... let me know, because I might have a totally screwed up copy

no, I have not finished in legendary on Co-op. I only played the beginning few sections on normal and heroic in Co-Op. Then I played the last section as listed below..

There IS a new level to unlock, though people on live can get it for free with the auto-update... to unlock without live you need to complete the last level in Co-op on and difficulty. while in the banshee be sure to do a few barrel rolls and flips..

ok, if someone could play a co-op game on Legendary, and let me know if it restarts to the previous checkpoint whenever ANYONE dies... I'd appriciate it...

-as for the screen split thing, I found that if the xbox isn't setup in 480p HDTV mode, then I can only get horizontal split (which is much better than vertical), but I can't have the HDTV mode activated so that's dissapointing in itself... if I'd known this before I bought the game, I'd have just copied it from a friend, and not paid $40 for it...

hahaa I'm the master! I have an answer.
so I was playing co-op with my buddy and after 10 minutes of convincing, I got him to play legendary and anytime someone died, we'd both respawn at the last checkpoint. It's kind of a pain in the ass. this was on the earth level btw.

Anyone who has not played oddball, really needs to, is WAY more mayhem than slayer..
