i have megabite jr LCAs and when i installed them, i just arm torqued them. my guesstimate would be ~60-70 ft/lbs. but then i had to adjust the LCAs and raise the rear since i was scraping before. so i tq'ed everything to spec that time. i did the spcified 111 ft/lbs on both ends of the LCAs. the problem is, now they are binding and im experiencing extreme oversteer. i tried one more time to re-install them and loosen the bolts, but one of the nuts has rounded itself. i cant get any sort of tool on it :bang: i tried a ratchet/socket, wrench, and line wrench. i also tried filing down the edges so i could get a tool on it, but it still rounds off when i try to turn it due to it's high tq. any thoughts? :bang: :bang:

Are you doing it on the ground?

The suspension needs the weight of the car to keep the system from binding, Letting the suspension hang and tightening is a no-no and leads to what you are describing.
is it possible to install the control arms when the weight of the car is on the wheels? that would mean only the shocks are supporting the weight. is that safe?
